Recent VARA Case


So here is a link to a recent Visual Artists Right Act case. It is from an art law blog. It is about a recent injunction filed to stop the destruction of a mural called Bicentennial Freedom in Corona, CA.  Essentially they got the injunction, but not due to the VARA, but rather some other legal move. In the article it states that there wasn't much merit to this case under the VARA (mainly do to the fact that the mural was made 16 years before the VARA was passed).
